A man was spotted sleeping on a sidewalk in Telok Blangah, adding to a recent spate of such incidents reported across Singapore.

Stomper Ivy noticed the man outside Blangah Court at Block 45 Telok Blangah Drive on Nov 16, at 4.35pm.

"We have drunk workers sleeping on the sidewalk. What bad image," she said.

This latest incident follows multiple similar cases islandwide reported on Stomp in recent weeks, where men were found sleeping in public spaces such as void decks, carparks and even food centres.

Earlier this month, a man was seen lying on the ground at the void deck of Block 8 French Road, while another was spotted sleeping across a table at a BBQ pit in East Coast Park for nearly two hours.

Two more men were found passed out in a Novena estate — one at a staircase landing and another on a carpark floor.

On Oct 29, a half-naked man was also found sleeping on the floor of China Square Food Centre.

These recurring sightings have raised concerns among Stompers about cleanliness, safety and whether deeper issues may be contributing to people resting in public spaces.
