A half-naked man was spotted sleeping on the floor of China Square Food Centre at Telok Ayer Street on Oct 29.

Stomper Pang Kiat said he came across the sight at around 7.07am.

"I intended to clear this area but saw him sleeping there," he told Stomp.

This comes after several similar incidents in recent weeks, where men were seen sleeping in public areas across Singapore - from a BBQ pit at East Coast Park to a staircase in Novena.

In an earlier report, residents voiced concerns about public safety and questioned whether there are sufficient patrols in such areas.
