'Simonboy is asking me to pay him money': Spat with Xiaxue over Forever Megan kids' charity escalates

The spat between influencers Xiaxue and Simonboy is escalating, with lawyers for the latter demanding financial compensation and an apology for the former's comments about him and his late daughter Megan, according to Xiaxue.

Xiaxue, whose real name is Wendy Cheng, shared screenshots on Nov 15 of a purported legal letter sent by lawyers acting on behalf of Simonboy, whose real name is Simon Khung.

"I'm supposed to offer him compensation, and he has to agree to the amount. Otherwise: He shall sue me. For even more money," wrote Ms Cheng.

"Read the whole letter and they didn't explain where I said anything false or baseless," she said, adding that the letter claimed she had caused "harassment, alarm and distress" to Mr Khung and that she must take down the relevant social media posts.

Ms Cheng did not elaborate on whether she would comply with the demands.

'I think you have enough kids on your hands'

On Nov 13, Ms Cheng posted about receiving a cease-and-desist letter from Simonboy over her posts about his Forever Megan charity. Mr Khung has said he hopes to focus on serving children in the community first, before eventually supporting the elderly.

He is the father of Megan Khung, who died in Feb 2020 at the age of four. Megan endured months of abuse by her mother, Foo Li Ping, from whom Mr Khung was estranged, and her mother's then-boyfriend Brian Wong, who delivered the fatal punch.

"I think you have enough kids on your hands," wrote Ms Cheng on her Instagram stories on Nov 12, in response to the launch of Forever Megan. "Three kids with three different moms. First child he neglected for 11 years and met the kid for the first time in 2024. Made sure to document it on social media and for the news."

In an earlier Instagram story, she also shared a screenshot of a comment that read: "The real heroes are the fathers who stayed clean, earned an honest day's wage, loved and remained faithful to their wives and family. And they continue to do this without any form of media attention."

The caption on the post reads: "Correct."

Neither Ms Cheng nor Mr Khung have responded to Stomp's queries about her initial posts.
