Yishun resident kicks up concern over kids ignoring 'no football' signs at void deck
Despite 'no football' signs at the void deck of Block 506 Yishun Avenue 4, several boys have been gathering in the area to kick a ball around.
A concerned resident told Stomp that the noise and commotion were disruptive and potentially dangerous.
"This space was not designed for football and could cause accidents if the ball hits elderly people," the Stomper said.
"Please share this to educate the boys not to play football where the ball could bounce off the walls and hit people."
In a similar incident in July, a ball allegedly hit an elderly woman's head when some kids were playing football in an area with 'no football' signs in Punggol.
While it is important for kids to get out and be active, the signs are there for a reason.
