Woman disturbed to see naked elderly man sunbathing by Kallang River 3 times in a month
A woman has seen a naked man sunbathing in the nude in Kallang Bahru three times this month.
The third time was on March 24, said Stomper Sharon, who shared photos of the balding man lounging in the grass by Kallang River without any clothes on. The Lion Building, owned by Lion Corporation, which manufacture oral care products among other things, can be seen in the background.
“This old man was indecently exposing himself in public,” said Sharon, who saw the nude sunbather at between 8.45am to 9am when she was walking to work.
“This was really disturbing, especially if young children were to walk past with him naked. It was very close to the main road with many females pedestrians in the area.”
The area is next to the Kallang Bahru bridge, and across the river is the Kallang Park Connector. “Opposite are blocks of flats. He being naked was so visible to everyone, including children,” added the Stomper.
“I told the Lion Building security guard when I walked past the building. He said he reported this old man to the police the day before. I am not sure if someone told him or he saw the old man himself.”
On March 26, the Stomper shared a photo of the man lying on the grass at the same location, but this time, he was in his underwear.
“I think he had attracted many pedestrians walking by,” said Kim, who added she hopes the police will do something about the man.
