Is it mould?
FairPrice Group has investigated the "stains" on the frozen prata a customer bought from the FairPrice Xtra outlet at AMK Hub.
Stomper Mandy shared photos of the uncooked prata from a Spring Home brand family pack of 20 pieces on April 14. Greenish black spots can be seen on several pieces.

The expiry date on the packaging was Oct 30, 2026.
"When I opened the pack to cook, I found stains on many pieces," recounted the Stomper. "I really do not know what they were, looked like mould.

"I had already consumed three pieces from the same pack. Then I realised there were stains when taking out the fourth piece.
"This was not the first time I see these stains. Previously, I bought the standard pack and I saw these stains on the prata too. I threw it away, thinking it might be a one time thing, or might be handling or storage issue on my side.
"But this time round, I'm definitely sure it's not issues on my side as I had put it straight into freezer."
The Stomper added that she had written to the manufacturer, thinking that the company might want the prata back for investigation, but had not received a reply.

In response to a Stomp query, a FairPrice Group spokesperson said: "We have conducted a thorough investigation on this isolated incident and the supplier has since tightened its quality checks to prevent recurrence.
"We have reached out to the customer who purchased the affected product to apologise for the inconvenience caused and offer a full refund.
"Customers can return or exchange products of unsatisfactory quality at the original store of purchase, with a receipt.
But the Stomper told Stomp she was not looking for a refund.
She said: "I just want to create awareness as others might have younger kids like mine, just take it out, put Into airfryer and eat it."
