A Chinese netizen expressed displeasure with a beach club in Sentosa after her daughter cut her toe while playing in the pool.

According to a Xiaohongshu user, Mrs Hong Yu, from Shanghai, she brought her family to Singapore during the five-day May Day holiday in China.

She visited Sentosa on May 4 and went to Ola Beach Club.

While playing in the pool at the beach club, her daughter suddenly told her that her foot was hurting.

Upon closer inspection, she realised that there was a cut on her toe and she was bleeding.

The beach club then arranged for medical personnel to help bandage the wound.

Mrs Hong Yu was later informed that the wound was deep and that they should seek medical attention as soon as possible.

She then looked for the manager to demand that the beach club bear full responsibility and compensation for medical fees.

However, the manager said that there was no guarantee and would inform the management about the incident. She was handed a business card with his email.

After changing her daughter's clothes, Mrs Hong Yu took her daughter to Mount Elizabeth Hospital, where the girl got stitches.

The spokesperson added that the team has satisfied the customer's claims.

"The safety and well-being of our customers is of paramount importance to us."
