Tipper truck crashes into Pasir Ris construction site, startling pedestrians at 1.35am
A tipper truck was caught on video crashing into a construction site along Pasir Ris Drive 1 on March 16.
Stomper Jane alerted Stomp to the footage that is circulating on WhatsApp.
According to the timestamp on the video, the incident happened at 1.35am.
A couple of pedestrians nearby were visibly startled when the truck crashed through some barriers.
The truck also hit an excavator located at the site.
Several areas in Pasir Ris are undergoing construction for the Cross-Island Line.
In response to a Stomp query, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said they received a call for assistance at 1.50am.
"SCDF assessed a person for minor injuries and the person declined to be sent to the hospital," the spokesperson said.
