Taxi reverses into woman allegedly 'choping' parking lot with her body in Ang Mo Kio
She would not move away.
An SMRT taxi reversed into a woman blocking a parking lot in Ang Mo Kio on Feb 1 morning.
Stomper Louis shared dashcam footage of the incident at the Ang Mo Kio Central 2 open carpark outside Djitsun Mall.
After the Stomper's car turned into the carpark, a white car can be seen driving away and leaving behind an empty lot.
"The woman was standing in front of the parking lot as the taxi was reversing in," recounted the Stomper.
"At first, I thought the taxi driver was not aware that the woman was standing behind his taxi and I honked to alert them both.
"But then I noticed the woman was aware, but she was not moving at all. There was another black car in front of the taxi and the woman was one of the passengers in the black car. She had got out of the car and wanted to chope the parking lot, but the car was far away.
"The taxi kept reversing slowly until it touched the woman. Then she moved aside and continued to take a video of the taxi driver.
"Who in this world uses a body to chope a parking lot? It's dangerous and not the way."
But that was not the end of it as another lot became available.
Since the taxi had taken the lot the woman tried to "chope", she made sure she got the next empty lot.
"The woman walked towards my car and knocked on my car window, signalling to me that she wanted the lot," said the Stomper.
"I didn't want to mess with this woman and I gestured to ask the black car to move aside as it was blocking the road, so that I could driver through and wait for another lot.
"As I drove past the black car (at the 11:54:43 mark in the video) and had a look at the driver, she gave me a impolite hand gesture that I should make way for her so that she could reverse toward the parking lot.
"When I walked towards the mall, I passed them face to face. That black car driver said 'stupid '.
"I was really pissed off but continued running my errands and ignored them."
