A Stomper was shocked after he was charged $6.30 for a meal consisting of a chicken leg and rice.

The Stomper shared that he bought his packed meal from Khatib Foodshop at Khatib MRT station on March 14 at 10am.

"The chicken drumstick is $6 and the rice is 30 cents?" he asked. "This is far too much."

When asked how much would have been a fair price to charge for such a meal, he replied: "The chicken rice stall sells meals for $4.50 so maybe a chicken drumstick with rice would be $5."

While food prices have been rising in Singapore due to inflation and supply costs, the Stomper felt this was excessive.

What do you think? Have you come across any overpriced meals?
