Handsome bus captain shelters commuters with umbrella during downpour at HarbourFront Bus Interchange

Little acts make a big impact.

Stomper Alan was heartened to see an SBS Transit bus captain holding out an umbrella as commuters boarded bus service 80 at HarbourFront Bus Interchange on Sunday afternoon (Sep 29).

According to Alan, there was a heavy downpour that day and passengers risked getting wet as the shelter did not extend far enough.

Thankfully, they had a bus captain who went out of his way to make sure they had a pleasant journey.

Alan said: Nowadays, I see a lot of complaints about bus captains and bus services, but actually there are still many good bus captains."
