At least two jars of FairPrice house brand kaya were found to be mouldy at the supermarket in 888 Plaza in Woodlands.

A Stomper shared photos of the tainted products on the shelf on Aug 1. One was the No Added Sugar Nonya Kaya. The other was the Hainanese Kaya With Honey.

"After a few days, they were still there on the shelf. Expiry is next year," said the Stomper.

On the lid of one of the jars, it said that the kaya was "best before" April 7, 2026.
