'Headless man' spotted in Yew Tee? And he's not far from the cemetery-like community garden
Someone should tell him Halloween was two months ago.
A "headless man" was apparently caught on camera in Yew Tee - not far from the cemetery-like community garden in the news recently.
The video was posted online by Supernatural Confessions on Dec 17.
The description said the video was submitted by someone named Dennis and was taken by his nephew who was riding bus service 979 on his way to student care.
Dennis said: "He took a video of the new water park and shared it in our family WhatsApp group."
The water park he was referring to was opened in November under the MRT viaduct at Choa Chu Kang Drive.
Dennis continued: "First to spot 'that thing' was my sister and asking all of us if we saw the same thing. That's when we all looked at the video again and saw it, too."
Taken from the upper deck of the double-decker bus, the 26-second video shows the man in a dark shirt and pants at the 18-second mark, standing on the pavement - and he looked like he did not have a head.
The video has since garnered more than 900,000 views on TikTok.
A number of netizens pointed out that the man was just looking down, making him look headless.
This explanation was also put forward by the two hosts of another video posted on YouTube by Supernatural Confessions.
Coincidentally, the "headless man" was spotted mere 700m from Block 672A Choa Chu Kang Crescent, the location of the community garden that was said to look like a cemetery.
Yew Tee has previously been described as the most depressing and most isolated neighbourhood in Singapore.
Perhaps now it will have the reputation as the spookiest as well?
At least it's not Yishun.
