Girl's heartbreaking solution when grandmother says she was found in a rubbish bin and has no birthday

Birthdays are a time to celebrate with our friends and family, but what if you did not have one?

Poor Cecelia can only look longingly as her friends have a birthday celebration in class, complete with goodie bags and cakes.

When she asks her grandmother, she is merely told that she does not have a birthday and was "picked up from the rubbish bin".

So she takes matters into her own hands.

The Singaporean short film, "Happy Birthday", is directed by Ang Geck Geck.
