Fire breaks out in living room of Aston Mansions condo unit
A fire broke out in a unit at Aston Mansions in Geylang on Dec 1.
Stomper Rizza, who works nearby, shared a video showing the eighth-floor condominium unit engulfed in flames at about 4pm.
"It was just beside my workplace," he said.
In response to a Stomp query, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said it was alerted to the fire at 3 Lorong 42 Geylang at around 4pm.
The blaze involved the contents of a living room in the unit. Firefighters extinguished the flames swiftly using a water jet.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
