The female delivery rider in the shouting match between her and two male GrabFood delivery riders in Tampines told Stomp that she had made a police report.

Under the name Joey PrincessBaby, she had posted a video of the incident in the Complaint Singapore Facebook group on Aug 8.

She wrote in the post that the other two riders had accused her of shouting at "everybody".

But she said: "I shouted because the toddler was going towards their direction and alerted the mother to look after their own kid before something bad happened. I think I'm not wrong.

"When I reached the traffic light, they started to scold me 'bitch' and asked why I shouted. I explained. Then they took my video and said they would report to LTA (Land Transport Authority)."

Subsequently, one of the two men shared a video that he took of her as well as his side of the story.

The rider, whose name is Faizal, wrote: "This lady was riding her PMA (personal mobility aid). (And yes, she is not handicapped or what.) Rode so fast on a pedestrian-only path and still had the cheek to shout at everyone who was in her way."

To explain why she was using a PMA, Joey PrincessBaby told Stomp she has a memo from a hospital.

Seen by Stomp, the 2024 memo from a doctor at Changi General Hospital Orthopaedics clinic said Joey had "back pain with right leg radiation".

The doctor added: "We will be most grateful for your kind help to make arrangement to transition to PMA."

In the video posted by Faizel, Joey can be heard speaking to someone on the phone.

Faizel alleged: "Things escalated when she wanted to call her gangster friend to settle the issue with me."

Joey explained: "During the video, I was on the call with my friend, who was asking me what happened. I just explained it to my friend. He (Faizal) claimed that I was calling my gangster friend. If my friend were here, then this matter would be settled, but till now, I haven't seen this matter settled.

"I have made a police report against him."

In response to a Stomp query, the police confirmed a report was lodged.

Faizal also claimed that they "exchanged vulgarities", but Joey said: "I didn't scold him bad words. It was them who scolded me."

Joey alleged that Faizal's and his friend's e-bikes did not have licence plates.

Faizal told Stomp this was not true, adding: "We have our licence plates all this while and never take them off. Our e-bikes have been registered legally and compliant with LTA's standards. We also passed our mandatory tests."

He further alleged: "This was not my first time noticing the lady riding too fast, shouting and honking at pedestrians and other path users who were in her way. There were also other delivery riders in Tampines who had noticed her riding too fast, which could pose a danger to others."

Faizal added: "Tampines has been one of the towns that has seen more mobility device users riding too fast, posing a danger to others around them. I am on the side of supporting safety and not posing a danger to others."
