Driver, pedestrian and cyclist taken to hospital after Lalamove van skids, overturns in Woodlands

Three people were taken to hospital after a van overturned at the junction of Woodlands Avenue 7 and Woodlands Avenue 4 on Oct 28.

The 60-year-old male van driver is assisting with investigations, the police told Stomp.

Stomper Venga alerted Stomp to the accident and shared a video taken at about 5.40pm.

The video shows a Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) fire truck at the scene, with an overturned Lalamove van in the middle of the road as several bystanders look on.

In response to a Stomp query, the SCDF and police said they were alerted to the accident at about 5.10pm.

According to the police, the accident involved a van that was believed to have self-skidded.

A 60-year-old male van driver, a 49-year-old male pedestrian and a 29-year-old male cyclist were taken conscious to hospital. Two of them were taken to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital and the third person was taken to Woodlands Health Campus.

Police investigations are ongoing.
