A cyclist demonstrated a blatant disregard for traffic rules in Tampines.

Stomper Lee alerted Stomp to footage of the incident posted on SG Road Vigilante's Facebook page.

According to the post, this was captured on Feb 6 at about 6.35am.

In the video, the cyclist is seen flouting multiple traffic regulations and putting himself, and others, at risk.

Firstly, the cyclist was riding without a helmet.

He ran not one, but two red lights and also failed to keep to the left side of the road.

One netizen wrote: "Is he still alive?"

Another said: "Some people have to find out the hard truth before they learn."

According to the Land Transport Authority, all cyclists must:

  • Wear a helmet when cycling on roads
  • Always ride as close as predictable to the far left of roads, and allow traffic to overtake you safely.
