Customer horrified by 'too small' chicken in KFC's $9.90 promo meal
A customer was horrified by the size of his fried chicken from KFC at Tampines Mall.
Stomper Lawrence visited the fast food restaurant on Oct 12 at around 4pm.
He recounted: "I purchased a two-piece meal promo set for takeaway. To my horror, the size of the chicken parts is like spring chicken-sized. The two chicken parts are way too small.
"I deliberately placed a regular-sized whipped potato just to show the comparison."
Lawrence said he hopes to raise awareness about the issue. He told Stomp on Nov 10: "The restaurant manager responded last week claiming that this is the correct size for Original Fried Chicken, but offered me five pieces of chicken as an apology."
Stomp has contacted KFC for more info.
This is not the first time a customer has complained about the size of KFC's fried chicken.
In May, a Stomper said his drumstick was more like a drumlet, adding: "Even Old Chang Kee chicken's is bigger than this and it costs half the price."
