Car goes over drain in accident at carpark along Siglap Road

A car went over a drain at a carpark along Siglap Road today (Sep 26) at around 1pm.
Stomper Kevin came across the aftermath of the accident and alerted Stomp to what happened.
In a telephone interview, he said he believes that the female driver of the white car pressed on the accelerator instead of the brakes, which resulted in the vehicle going over the drain.
The Stomper said that both the driver as well as a child who was on board were not injured in the accident.
They were waiting for help when he left the area.
