2 taken to hospital after lorry overturns in hit-and-run accident with car along CTE
Two men were taken to hospital after an accident involving a lorry and a car along the Central Expressway (CTE) on Tuesday night (July 21).
The police told Stomp that they were alerted to the hit-and-run accident, which occurred in the CTE tunnel towards the Ayer Rajah Expressway, at 10.10pm.
"A 34-year-old male lorry driver and his 38-year-old male passenger were conscious when conveyed to Singapore General Hospital," said a police spokesman.
A video of the accident scene taken by Stomper David shows an overturned lorry in the tunnel.
Police investigations are ongoing.
