Woman looking for good Samaritan who helped change her punctured tyre at Holland Road
A woman is hoping to reconnect with a kind stranger who stopped to help her change a flat tyre on July 19.
Stomper Jan shared that she found herself stranded with a punctured tyre at about 10.45am at Holland Road.
To her surprise, a black Toyota Previa pulled over and the driver, a bespectacled Chinese man named JY, offered to help.
"His wife and elder daughter, Charmaine, were with him too," she recounted.
"He took about 20 to 25 minutes to change my tyre."
The Stomper shared a photo and said she has no other details but hopes the public can help her locate JY so she can express her gratitude in person.
"I was very touched by his kindness in helping me despite the heat, traffic and errands that he had to run," she said.
"He was on his way to fetch his younger kid from preschool but still went out of his way to help."
"I hope Stomp can help me locate JY so that I can thank him properly."
