Security guard at Jubilee Square heartened to receive flower with note: 'Thanks for keeping us safe'
A security guard working at Jubilee Square was pleasantly surprised to receive a flower from a group of girls on Thursday evening (Feb 27).
The Stomper, who wants to be known as Mr Security, said he was on duty when he received the flower and note.
The note reads: "Thank you for helping to keep us safe.
"We are praying for you."
It is signed off by "The Legion of Mary"
Mr Security told Stomp he has been working at Jubilee Square for four months and this is the first time he has received any token of appreciation.
"It warms my heart," he said.
"I just want to say thanks and keep doing what you are doing.
"I hope others will follow your example."
