A Foodpanda rider who fell off his bicycle while making a delivery in Serangoon is hoping to thank a kind woman who came to his aid.

The incident happened on June 26 at about 1pm along Chartwell Drive, just outside the Church of St Francis Xavier.

Stomper Sean said he was delivering bread and eggs when his bicycle suddenly skidded and he fell.

"A lady, whom I believe is a churchgoer at St Francis Xavier, saw what happened and came over to assist me," he said.

"She picked up the broken eggs and offered me wet tissue to clean up the blood on my legs. She kept asking if I was okay and made sure I drank water."

Sean said he wanted to express his gratitude to the woman for her kindness, especially in the hot weather.

He also apologised to the household expecting the delivery, as he was unable to complete it due to the fall.

"I'd like to remind all riders to ride safe and stay safe," he added.

He also extended an apology to the nearby unit along the road, as there had been some spillage from the broken eggs.

"It was quite a mess," he said. "I'm really sorry."
