Cabby with 'beautiful soul' sings with Stomper's kids instead of scolding them for being noisy
A taxi driver's warmth and understanding left a lasting impression on a mother and her children.
Stomper Kavita shared that she booked a ComfortDelGro taxi from Teck Whye to Bukit Batok on Oct 8 at about 6.55pm, and was deeply touched by the kindness of the driver Mr Suckpal Singh.
He went above and beyond to make her ride, and her children's day, extra special.
"It was the first time ever in my entire life I felt a good ride," she said. "Most of the taxi drivers or PDVL riders are usually rude or reject my bookings because my kids can be noisy."
But this time, she said, the driver was not only patient but also cheerful and accommodating.
"He was friendly and even played nursery rhymes for my daughter Valentina and son Emmanuel, singing along with them," she shared. "He also gave me good advice on how to raise my kids."
When she tried to quiet her children down, the taxi uncle told her not to worry.
"He said it's okay, let them enjoy themselves," she said. "Very beautiful soul - he deserves to be recognised."
