Woman, 74, dies after collision between bicycle and lorry in Boon Lay

A 74-year-old female cyclist died after an accident with a lorry in Boon Lay on Sept 20.
The 70-year-old driver of the lorry is assisting with investigations, said the police.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said on Sept 20 that it was alerted to the accident near Block 209 Boon Lay Place at about 8.05am.
The woman was taken conscious to Ng Teng Fong General Hospital, where she later died, said the police and SCDF.
A photo of the scene shows a red bicycle on a grass patch at the side of a road. Some distance away, a pool of blood can be seen with pieces of tissue strewn across it.
