Wife discovers husband joined chat group filled with women offering massage services, he denies visiting them
A woman was upset to discover her husband had joined a online chat group with photos of women in revealing clothes offering massage services.
The wife told Shin Min Daily News that she had found out about it in August.
"When I confronted him, he denied visiting a massage parlor but admitted to joining the group," said the wife, 37, who works in administration.
"I felt deeply disrespected and betrayed by his actions."
She also expressed concern about the wider impact of such online groups.
The wife said that some of her friends were divorced following similar issues involving massage parlours.
She added: "If teenagers are exposed to these groups, it could have a detrimental effect on their attitudes toward relationships and respect."
The wife said that despite reporting such groups to the police and the online platforms, little has been done to curb the problem.

While many women in such groups do explicitly offer sexual services, others are more discreet.
One woman, who works in Havelock and charges $60 an hour, wrote in a Telegram chat group: "Hi there! I'm a 24-year-old girl from Vietnam, 1.6m tall.
"I'm cheerful, friendly, and love making people feel relaxed and happy. It's my first time in Singapore, but I already have a few years of massage experience. I hope my massage can help you release stress and ease any pain.
"Give me a chance to take care of you - you won't regret it!"
