An interactive plant exhibit at Changi Airport, which allows guests to make music by waving their hands over plants, sparked amusement and awe from two tourists who shared about the experience on TikTok.

In a video posted by @Notsophadophaa, the duo are seen standing near a signboard that says, "Make plant music". As they gesture over the plants, music plays from the exhibit.

Plant Sonata, located in Terminal 2, is an interactive sound installation that uses sensors and a synthesiser system to trigger musical notes.

"It's giving fairy," says one of the tourists, their expressions lighting up with each gesture. The pair also explore other parts of the exhibit, including the koi pond, commenting on the cleanliness of the space.

"Singapore airport is not real," the caption reads.

The post had garnered over 279,400 views and 54,700 likes at press time.

Netizens were equally tickled, with one user commenting: "I would honestly miss my flight." Several noted other activities available at the airport, such as a cinema and butterfly garden.

One local chimed in: "Well, what can we say, welcome to Singapore."
