The New Paper has rolled out a series of changes to its website, aimed at improving user experience and encouraging greater reader interaction.

The revamp features a sleeker design along with new engagement tools.

Among the new features are emoji reactions and a comment function in articles. Readers can now log in to Disqus and participate in comment threads with others.

The homepage also features two new sections: Get Social, which showcases the title's TikTok videos, and Most Talked About, which highlights trending stories on the site.

These updates give readers a broader view of the latest local happenings, from viral top stories to engaging short-form video content.

Earlier this year, TNP also unveiled a new logo and website layout.

Departing from the familiar orange hue used in past logos, the new design features an electric blue and yellow colour scheme for a modern twist.

In December 2024, it launched Kopitime, a shared space for public reflection and discussion.

The enhancements are part of the publication's efforts to promote discourse and foster a stronger sense of community around its content.

Readers can keep up with TNP through its various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Telegram and X.
