Mystery woman in white spotted pushing stroller along KJE at 2.30am

A woman was seen walking along the Kranji Expressway (KJE) at night while pushing a baby stroller, and several netizens claim she is usually spotted in the mornings.

A dashcam video of the incident was uploaded to the ROADS.sg Facebook page on Nov 6, reported Shin Min Daily News.

The footage, taken at about 2.30am, shows a car travelling along the KJE towards the Bukit Timah Expressway (BKE), near the Choa Chu Kang exit, when the woman suddenly comes into frame along the right-hand road shoulder.

Usually seen in the morning

In the clip, the woman - dressed in white - is seen pushing a stroller as she walks along the expressway.

Commenters said they had seen her multiple times in the Bukit Panjang, Woodlands Road and Mandai Road areas.

One wrote that she often has a stroller or wheelchair with her, and is typically seen in the mornings.

"This is the first time I've seen her out at night," a commenter added.

Some wondered if she was alright. "Alot of times, we don't know what others have been through. No one would risk their life, wandering off on a dangerous expressway with a stroller in the middle of the night. Stop and help, if you can," said one commenter.

Under the Road Traffic Act, pedestrians are not allowed to walk or run on expressways. Offenders can face a fine of up to $1,000, up to three months' jail, or both.

As no police report has been filed, the woman's identity, and the reasons for her behaviour, remain unclear.
