Local influencer Xiaxue is selling her Hougang flat, unit listed for $928,000
Wendy Cheng, better known as Xiaxue, is saying goodbye to her home of the past 11 years. The social media personality recently listed her four-bedroom executive HDB flat in Hougang for $928,000.
The PropertyGuru listing states that the 1,528 sq ft flat has 57 years remaining on its 99-year lease.
A quick search on the property website reveals that executive HDB flats in Hougang currently range from $755,000 to $1,380,000.
While the unit is a 17-minute walk from the nearest MRT station, Kovan, five bus stops are within a five-minute walk.
For potential buyers with school-going daughters, the flat is also a 4-minute walk from Paya Lebar Methodist Girls' School.
The influencer, best known for her blog posts and hot takes, took to Instagram to share that the unit is "bigger than a five-room flat" before giving followers a virtual tour.
She showed off the guest bathroom, located next to the dining room, which features a bathtub hidden behind wardrobe-like doors. Xiaxue jokingly pointed out that "if there's a robber," it would be the perfect hiding spot.
She later showcased her "hidden cave" - her master bedroom - and her glamorously-furnished "famous princess room" which houses her personal wardrobe and makeup area.
The 40-year-old announced her split from her husband two years ago, ending their 13-year marriage. The pair have been co-parenting their 12-year-old son, Dashiel.
