Foodpanda customer says order arrived unsealed, incomplete: 'Half of the food is gone'
Was the food order half-completed or merely slanted?
This was a Foodpanda customer's concern after her order arrived unsealed and apparently incomplete on Nov 25. "The food wasn't sealed or taped, anyone could have opened it," wrote @shishi_diary on TikTok.
The order in question was a $12.50 chicken and egg don with an additional sous vide egg, from Hatsumi Donburi & Soba at Northpoint City. Concerned about food safety, her brother disposed of the meal.
When the customer later contacted FoodPanda, she was met with bots and automated replies and claimed that no solution was provided.
The TikTok clip has since garnered 19,400 views, 96 reactions and 32 comments as of press time.
In response to Stomp's queries, a Foodpanda spokesperson said: "We have gotten in touch with the customer to resolve the matter, and a full refund has already been processed."

'At least you still can eat'
"Is it that the food is never secured properly, and when the rider makes turns, the food sways from side to side… or is the food originally not full?" one netizen questioned.
While most netizens debated whether the food had actually been tampered with, many shared their own delivery experiences.
"Mine arrived with my soup all over the plastic and the other food soaked," one wrote.
"I saw a rider place the food on the toilet floor and pee," another netizen added, saying that he has since stopped ordering food delivery as a "risk avoidance" measure.
It is the second time in a week that food safety concerns involving delivery platforms have been raised.
On Nov 22, a Yio Chu Kang resident caught a GrabFood delivery driver pouring their neighbour's spilled porridge back into a container.
