A heated dispute between two employees at an Ang Mo Kio durian stall erupted into a fight on the evening of Nov 15, ending with two men arrested and another taken to hospital.

The incident occurred at around 10pm at Block 530, Ang Mo Kio Avenue 10.

Mr Lim, a Shin Min Daily News reader, said he saw several police cars and officers at the scene.

"When I passed by, I saw many police officers. Later, I heard it was the staff members at the durian stall who were fighting," he said.

Photos provided by Mr Lim showed officers surrounding a man in a white shirt who was seated on a chair, while medical personnel tended to his injuries.

When Shin Min reporters arrived, the staff involved were no longer at the scene. Two police officers remained and later left with what appeared to be a piece of evidence - a clothes drying rack.

A customer at a nearby coffee shop said the clash appeared to have started as a disagreement between two stall employees, which then turned physical.

"I heard they initially didn't get along and then started fighting. The police questioned them before taking them away in a police car," the customer said.

Another employee allegedly intervened during the scuffle, possibly to support one of the parties involved.

In response to Stomp queries, police confirmed that two men, aged 26 and 31, were arrested for affray. A 52-year-old man was conveyed conscious to the hospital. Police investigations are ongoing.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force said one person was taken to Sengkang General Hospital, while two others sustained minor injuries but declined to be sent to the hospital.
