An incident at a public swimming pool has gotten the attention of netizens, after a lifeguard remained calm and composed even as a woman grabbed his spectacles and tossed them aside.

The incident occurred on Nov 16 at Delta Swimming Complex, located in Tiong Bahru, and was captured by TikToker @D4N1.

A 24-second clip of the incident shows a woman in a swimsuit standing near two male lifeguards who are speaking to her. She then reaches forward and removes the spectacles from one of the men before throwing them on the ground.

The other lifeguard steps in, appearing to calm her down, while the first lifeguard leaves to retrieve his glasses. She does not respond to those speaking to her.

Another man approaches to check on the lifeguard and mediate the situation, but the woman pushes him back as the clip ends.

Another noted: "The girl doesn't seem normal. Maybe that's why the lifeguards tolerated her with compassion."
