A 47-year-old woman and a 65-year-old man were taken to hospital on Feb 17 after the taxi they were in turned turtle near Jewel Changi Airport.

The police said they were alerted to the accident at about 9.30am, with the taxi believed to have skidded in Airport Boulevard towards Jewel Changi Airport.

Both were taken to Changi General Hospital, said the Singapore Civil Defence Force, with the police adding that they were both conscious.

The male taxi driver is assisting with investigations, the police said.

A Facebook user posted a photo of the accident on the SG Taxi Drivers group, showing the Trans-Cab taxi lying on its roof. The user said that a lamp post was knocked down in the accident.
