Employee surprised by Chanel bag from manager for birthday, says: 'Boss, I love you'
An employee at local hair care brand Dixmondsg got a very special birthday surprise from her boss: a Chanel bag worth several thousand dollars.
In a 42-second clip posted on the brand's TikTok account, Dixmondsg manager @claudia52scarlett walks into a room where the employee is waiting and hands her a Chanel bag.
The on-screen caption reads: "Your boss surprises you with your first Chanel for your birthday."
The video cuts to the employee unboxing the gift, exclaiming in awe as she unwraps a light pink clutch.
The stunned employee simply says: "Boss, I love you."
The video had amassed more than 175,200 views at press time.
According to Chanel's website, a handbag from the French luxury house costs at least several thousand dollars, although it is unclear which model is shown in the TikTok video.
'I will never gift used stuffs'
In response to netizens, claudia52scarlett said in the comments on the clip that the gift was new and not pre-loved.
"No wrapping when I bought it. Even my other Chanels also got no wrapping on the chain," she wrote. "I will never gift used stuffs [sic]."
Other netizens praised her for her generosity, while others jokingly asked if the company had any vacancies.
In response to Stomp's queries, claudia52scarlett declined to comment.
Back in August, claudia52scarlett made headlines by announcing her daughter's assigned primary school with a grenade-shaped cake in a TikTok clip.
