A damaged machine at the fitness corner of Treehaus Park in Woodlands has been repaired.

This comes after Stomper Wong alerted Stomp to the issue.

Wong shared photos of the machine, which had a dislodged pole, and said: "The pole had been shaking for many months, but there was no response or action taken even though I informed the office three times. Now, it has been loose for three weeks."

In response to a Stomp query, a spokesperson for Marsiling-Yew Tee Town Council said it is aware of the damaged equipment.

The town council was alerted to the issue in July, but rectification works took longer than expected as the replacement parts had to be ordered and delivered.

"The equipment has since been repaired and restored for use," the spokesperson told Stomp on Aug 27.

"We appreciate the resident's feedback and apologise for any inconvenience caused. We will continue to work closely with the community to maintain a safe and pleasant space for everyone."
