Four youths were caught on camera cycling recklessly on the leftmost lane of the West Coast Highway at night.

Stomper Jovis alerted Stomp to a video circulating online since Dec 13 that shows two of the young men peddling furiously on bicycles while the other two appeared to be on e-bikes.

One cyclist was drafting dangerously close to the back of a tanker truck. None were wearing helmets.

Sharing the video on Facebook, one netizen posted: "If you are watching this video and know the parents of these kids, please let them know that it is time to talk to their kids.

"If not, it will be too late when something happens and it will be useless to talk to their spiritual tablet."

E-bikes are allowed on roads but not expressways. The maximum speed allowed for e-bikes is 25kmh.

Stomper Lee alerted Stomp to another video circulating online that shows a group of male youths cycling recklessly without helmets in Punggol.

Those caught riding bicycles and power-assisted bicycles on roads without wearing a helmet can be fined up to $1,000 and/or jailed up to three months upon conviction for the first offence.
