'Terrible noise': Yishun resident alarmed by more crows in area, blames litter and people feeding them
A Yishun resident is alarmed by the growing number of crows in the area and blames it on the litter and people feeding them.
Stomper Meng shared photos of the rubbish left behind at Block 745 Yishun Street 72 and videos of the birds in the trees.

"Terrible noise," said the Stomper.
"After sending feedback to the town council, they can only send their cleaners to tidy up at about 7am, but the crows started coming as early as 5am to feed on the leftover food, including those in the overflowing dustbins.
"The crow's population increasing at alarming rate here. Many people are feeding them intentionally.
"There are also stray cat feeders. It is okay to feed the stray cats, but the feeders just leave the cat food and after the cats have eaten, the birds will come and feed."
In response to a Stomp query, a spokesperson for Nee Soon Town Council said: "Our cleaners conduct daily cleaning of common areas and waste disposal.
"However, a whole-of-community efforts is required to keep our shared spaces clean. There are many ongoing campaigns to raise awareness on the problem of littering. One such example is the annual Keep Singapore Clean campaign by the Public Hygiene Council.
The town council regularly organises litter-picking activities for residents and it is also looking at replacing the bins with anti-pilferage bins.
"This will address the issue of crows looking for food in the bins," said the spokesperson.
"While the town council is actively exploring ways to improve this situation, we would like to encourage residents to take care of our commons areas by keeping the place clean."
