Yikes! Metal beams fall from moving lorry along Airport Road
Several metal beams were seen falling from the back of a lorry that was travelling along Airport Road at about 8am on Tuesday (July 28).
Stomper Jeffery shared with Stomp footage of the incident that he took from his vehicle's in-car camera as he was exiting the Kallang-Paya Lebar Expressway (KPE).
In the video, three beams are seen slipping and falling off the vehicle and onto the road.
A few seconds later, another beam is seen falling from the moving lorry.
Fortunately, there were no other vehicles were travelling closely behind it.
"I tried to honk at the driver but I think he didn't hear the horn," said Jeffery.
