Woodlands resident makes police report after boy throws 'bomb bag' at her unit
A Woodlands resident has raised concerns after three boys were seen throwing 'bomb bags' at units in her block.
The incident happened on Sept 28 at about 3.40pm at Block 739 Woodlands Circle.
The Stomper, who lives on the 12th floor, said one of the 'targets' was her home.
While the 'bomb bag' did not enter her unit, it bounced back and landed in the common corridor.
"The intended target area was where my mother usually sits on a chair," she said. "This posed a significant risk to her safety and wellbeing."
In video clips she shared, the boys are seen walking along the corridor when one of them stops to throw an object at a window. He then turns and runs to join his friends.
A resident is seen opening the gate to see what happened.
The Stomper added that the loud sound from the items was extremely loud and disruptive and that such behaviour could have more serious consequences.
"This raises a serious safety concern," she said. "If next time they were to throw cigarettes, fire, or any flammable item, it could cause injury, damage to property, or even start a fire in the common area."
She told Stomp she has made a police report about the incident.
In response to a Stomp query, the police confirmed that a report was lodged.
