Woman makes police report after $60 worth of mee goreng and kangkong balacan she ordered from Carousell go missing
She just wanted her money back.
But when the Carousell seller ghosted her, Stomper Gina decided to make a police report.
The Stomper claimed the seller had cheated her out of $60.
She recounted: "On June 9, I paid $60 via PayNow to this seller for two dishes - mee goreng and kangkong balacan - which were to be delivered for my gathering on June 14 at 5.30pm.

"The order was confirmed through both Carousell chat and WhatsApp.
"However, no food was delivered on the agreed date and time.
"Despite repeated attempts to contact the seller via Carousell and WhatsApp, my messages and calls were ignored. The seller has since become unresponsive and has not refunded the money."
In the police report made later the same evening, Gina said: "I believe I have been cheated."
In response to a Stomp query, the police confirmed a report was lodged.
The Carousell seller told Shin Min Daily News that the Stomper's order was collected on time that day by the delivery man, whom the seller had paid $12 to make the delivery.
She said: "After learning that the food had not been delivered, I tried to contact the delivery man, but he could not be found.
The seller told Shin Min that she would be refunding the money to the customer on June 16.
But Gina told Stomp that as of June 17, she still had not received the refund.
She said: "This experience has caused unnecessary stress and financial loss.
"I hope this report helps prevent others from falling victim to similar scams on online platforms."
