Woman shocked by Ryde fares ranging from $143 to $316 for trip from Woodlands to HarbourFront
Using ride-hailing services can be considered a luxury but most of us would not be prepared to pay more than $100 for a fare.
Stomper Sri was shocked when she saw fares ranging from $143 to $316 when booking a ride from Woodlands to HarbourFront on Monday (Sept 26).
She told Stomp she had checked her app at about 2.43am.
She said: "I was surprised to see the prices shown... why so expensive??!!"
In the end, Sri booked a ride with Grab which cost her $42, inclusive of Electronic Road Pricing (ERP) charges.
