A woman was seen pressing and pinching durian at a supermarket despite a sign discouraging customers from doing so.

Stomper Anonymous told Stomp that the incident took place at the FairPrice Finest outlet at The Seletar Mall on Jan 20.

"This auntie kept pinching the durian even though the board already stated no pinching," the Stomper said. "She pressed many of them and made it hard for other people to buy."

In clips shared by the Stomper, a woman riding a personal mobility aid is seen touching the durian despite a sign advising customers to "please do not press".

According to the Stomper, the woman has been seen doing this regularly.

"She comes here every day to press the durian," the Stomper claimed, adding that the outlet's staff were also aware of the situation.

According to the Stomper, packets of durian have been on display for several weeks and supermarket staff have spoken to the woman, but she allegedly ignored them.

"Even when the staff told her, she didn't care," the Stomper said.

Stomp has reached out to FairPrice for comment.
