Somebody got triggered.

A passenger allegedly slammed the car door after a private-hire vehicle (PHV) driver told her: "Sorry, madam, I am not your private chauffeur."

Stomper Ho, who is the Grab driver, shared what happened on May 19 around 3pm.

He had picked up the passenger at a condominium on Robin Road and was booked to drive her to The Malayan Council, which is a restaurant at Winstedt Road, and then to United Square.

"Upon reaching the first destination, the passenger alighted. She never said a thing and made her way slowly to The Malayan Council," recounted the Stomper.

"I waited for six minutes, turned my head and saw her standing outside a ballet class. She was watching the students having classes," said the driver.

A dance school called All That Jazz Dance Academy is also at Winstedt Road.

Tired of waiting, the Stomper got out of his car and approached the woman.

He said: "I simply crossed my hand and told her, 'Madam, this is not the right way. I have trip incentives to complete. You can't just make a booking get out without giving any information and expect the driver to wait.'

"She replied, 'I will pay the waiting fee.'"

That was when the driver said to the woman: "Sorry, madam, I am not your private chauffeur."

He then told her to remove her things from his vehicle and went back to his car to wait for her to do so.

"She opened my car door, got her bag and intentionally slammed my car door so hard that I could feel the vibration in my driver's seat," said the Stomper, who took a video of the woman walking away and returning to watch the ballet class as he tried to shame her.

The driver claimed that although he was angry, he did not show any anger until she slammed his door.

"After taking the video, I waited a while as I was also trying to live chat on my Grab app to file a complaint, but the selection option failed me. Due to it being Sunday, I was not able to get anyone to speak on Grab hotline," said the Stomper.

"I ended the trip and chilled down before I carried on driving.

"To the passenger, treat people the way you want to be treated. Your time is precious and so are others' time."
