Woman hurt after her motorcycle gets in accident with taxi, driver assisting with investigations
A motorcyclist, 31, was taken to the hospital after an accident with a taxi in Serangoon on the night of June 30.
Stomper G shared photos of the accident's aftermath, showing a woman sitting on the road next to a blue Comfort DelGro taxi and a motorcycle in front of Block 304 Serangoon Avenue 2.
"It happened right in front of me during my leisure walk," said the Stomper.
"The taxi was making a right turn while the motorcycle was going straight ahead. I can’t exactly state who was at fault here."
She said the woman was fully conscious and able to talk on the phone.
"The driver was an old uncle, who seemed very worried about her," added the Stomper.
In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident at Serangoon Avenue 2 towards Lorong Chuan at about 10.10pm.
The motorcyclist was conscious when taken to the hospital and the 73-year-old taxi driver is assisting with police investigations which are ongoing.
