What a mess.

A woman confronted a teenage boy who allegedly spilt a Mixue drink on the MRT train, but he denied responsibility.

Stomper Jane said it happened on Feb 21 at around 4.45pm.

"When I boarded the train at Punggol, I saw this teen with the Mixue cup dropped on the floor and the spoon on the MRT seat. He was seen wiping himself with tissue due to the spill," recounted the Stomper, who shared photos of the incident.

"When the train was about to reach Sengkang station, he attempted to alight without picking up his Mixue.

"I confronted him for leaving behind the mess, but he claimed that he was not responsible. His friend told him that he was being irresponsible when he denied that it was him.

"His friend then picked up the cup and spoon before alighting at Sengkang."

A photo shows remnants of the drink on the seat and floor, but the cup and spoon had been removed.

Eating and drinking in trains and stations is not permitted under the Rapid Transit Systems Act.

The offence carries a fine of up to $500.
