A 27-year-old woman was apprehended after being seen sitting on a window ledge at Block 27 Toa Payoh East on June 13.

The police and Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) told Stomp that they received a call for assistance at around 10.15am.

"Upon arrival, a person was seen sitting on a window ledge," SCDF added.

"SCDF deployed a safety life air pack and rescuers from the Disaster Assistance and Rescue Team (DART) were on standby as a precautionary measure."

The woman was apprehended under Section 7(1) of the Mental Health (Care and Treatment) Act 2008. No injuries were reported.

Videos taken by Stomper Anonymous show the police and SCDF at the scene at about 10.50pm. A woman can be seen being led away by officers.

Anonymous said: "There were three police cars along with three SCDF vehicles on standby.
