A Stomper saw a taxi that had been hit by a long vehicle at Canberra Way on Thursday (Mar 16) at about 10am.

The Stomper was passing by the area when he saw the accident, which occurred along the slip road from Canberra Way into Canberra Link.

In the photos he sent to Stomp, a blue taxi’s bumper has been hit by one of the wheels of the long vehicle, which is carrying several long metal rods. The front of the long vehicle has already turned out onto Canberra Link.

The Stomper said:

“I think the taxi was trying to squeeze side-by-side with the long vehicle.

“When the long vehicle turned, the taxi got trapped, because the long vehicle needs more clearance space to turn.”
