Watch: SCDF officers rescue woman sitting on ledge of Vertex building in Ubi
A 42-year-old woman was rescued from the ledge of the Vertex building at 33 Ubi Avenue 3 on Wednesday (Oct 28) and was subsequently arrested.
In response to Stomp queries, the police and the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said they received a call for assistance at around 1.10pm.
A woman was found sitting on the ledge.
The SCDF told Stomp that it deployed a safety life air pack as a precautionary measure and a net to rescue the woman.

A video that Anon shared also shows SCDF officers rescuing the woman with a safety net.
No injuries were reported.
The woman was apprehended under Section 7 of the Mental Health (Care and Treatment) Act, said the police.
